Social Distancing
In order to re-open under Social Distancing requirements, we have made some temporary changes to ensure the health and safety of library visitors and staff.
Visitors are required to:
- Comply with current Public Health Orders
- Supervise children
- Follow directions from library staff
- Do not enter if you feel unwell
Visitors are encouraged to:
- Use the hand sanitiser provided
- Use EFTPOS payments where possible
- Keep a distance of 1.5 meters between yourself and other people
- Only handle items you are borrowing
CNRL has implemented the following measures:
- Increased cleaning of library equipment
- Increased cleaning of surfaces
- CNRL Libraries will adhere to State guidelines and restrictions to ensure the safety of library customers and staff
What if I don't feel comfortable visiting a library but I have reservations ready to collect?
If you don't feel comfortable visiting a library at the moment you are welcome to use the click-and-collect service during library opening hours at participating branches:
- Tamworth City Library- between the library and Parry House during normal library hours
Learn how to reserve books for our click-and-collect service here.
When will libraries go back to the way they were before they closed?
Services at CNRL branches will be different for some time. CNRL will continue to work within State guidelines to manage the safe delivery of library services.
While the library service you are familiar with may be a little different for now, your friendly library staff will be available to provide you with any help you might need.
