Home Library Service

Central Northern Regional Library provides a number of delivery services for Homebound clients - please contact your nearest branch for further information.

Tamworth City Library provides a monthly delivery every Tuesday for people who are unable to visit either the Tamworth City or South Tamworth branch libraries. To be eligible for this service you must reside in the Tamworth City area and either:

  • Have an illness or disability which prevents you from visiting the library. The condition may be temporary, reoccuring or permanent.
  • Be able to visit a library, because of frailty or disability are unable to carry items home.
  • People who are engaged in full-time are of people in either of the above groups. A Doctors certificate is required for this service.
  • Books, magazines and spoken word can be delivered once a month by members of the library staff and a community volunteer.
  • If you are eligible to join the Homebound Service you will need to complete a registration form and supply a copy of your doctor's certificate.
