Get Started

The Arduino IDE can be downloaded from the official Arduino website - install the version suitable for your computer. Open the Arduino IDE software, connect your Arduino board to your computer with the USB cable and let your computer install the drivers for the Arduino board.

This quick guide will familiarise you with the interface you will be coding in.

Starter Projects

Using an LED
This basic project will introduce the beginner Arduino user to simple code & circuits by turning on & off an LED: click here
Using a Potentiometer
Use a potentiometer to adjust the brightness of the in-built LED on the Arduino Uno: click here
