Get Started

Charge Up
Make sure the fuselage module is fully charged using the USB cable before every flight - the red light will turn off when it is ready.
Download the App
While the plane is charging, get the POWERUP 4.0 app you will need to control it!
Download: Apple/iPhone/iPad | Google/Android/Samsung etc
Plan your Flight
Grab some paper and some tape and fold one of the planes as shown below. Only fly outside in large open spaces with adult supervision. Choose a windless day on your first flight - typically wind is calmer in the morning or evening.

Fold Your Plane

Pre-Flight Checklist

Launch Into The Wind
Choose a calm day, identify where the wind is coming from and plan to launch your airplane heading into the wind.
Inspect your Plane
Check all parts are in place, all folds are neat and the paper plane is pushed all the way into the front clips of the fuselage module. Ensure the wings are slightly raised and should touch the stabilizer on both it's ends, and the elevators are also slightly raised.
Controls Checked
Check your propellers can rotate freely. Check control functionality at low thrust levels and confirm the plane on your screen is reacting accordingly.
Cross-Bar in place
Ensure the crossbar is taped down to avoid losing it.
Trim Your Plane
Make small adjustments each time you trim, and ensure the elevators are not raised to high or the will act as air-brakes.
Communication Check
Gently straighten the antenna wire to point up. Turn off wi-fi, and always point your smartphone towards the plane.
Battery Fully Charged
Ensure both the plane and your smartphone are fully charged.
Where To Fly
Fly in a wide open soft grassy field of at least 150 meters in diameter, clear of power lines, trees, buildings and water. Never fly next to buildings or trees, or over people.
